Quarter 1, Week 7 - Communicative Part 3

 

This week we reviewed further about communicative style. We had a spelling bee about an unfamiliar word that can help us to our English understanding. The spelling word we discovered are dysfunctional, bookkeeper, neophyte, novice, indict, etc. We also learned about the Anglo-American Literature Icon Hellen Adams Keller, she born on June 27, 1880, and died on June 1, 1968. Hellen Adams Keller was an American author, lecturer, etc.

Hellen Adams Keller was born in Tuscumbia, Alabama, she died at the age of 87. She lost her sight and hearing at the age of 19. We also discover the inventor of the phone Alexander Graham Bell. We learned a new figure of speech which is Litotes. Litotes is an ironic understatement in which an affirmative is expressed by the negative of its contrary. We also gave examples about Litotes. We discuss our learning task and performance task, especially on doing our blogs for us to be creative in doing it.

Dear Heavenly Father, as we all gather here for our online class. We thank you for starting this wonderful day, We are grateful for all of the blessings we have received on this day. We are grateful for the strength and abilities you have given us in order for us to learn a new lesson. Lord, we thank you for the opportunity to attend and participate in this class. Our dear teachers, We humbly ask your forgiveness for our sins. May you grant us the opportunity to atone for all of our sins and assist us in correcting all of our wrongful acts. May you assist us in focusing our hearts and enlighten our minds on what we are about to learn in this lesson. May you guide us and assist us in understanding our topic. May you guide, protect, and keep everyone safe. May today's plans and schedules be carried out with your approval. May we enjoy and treasure this opportunity to join this online class. May our lesson be a success and go off without a hassle. May you be with us and inspire us with your holy spirit. As we learn more about the world around us, we are guided by your eternal light.
